Alignments

Since a DNA sequence can be translated in different frames and spliced in different ways, it would be interesting to see how similar the protein sequences of SRD5A2 would across the model organisms previously analyzed as compared to the genetic similarities.

As far as the individual programs go, T-COFFEE again was my favorite.  The results are in .pdf and the color coding makes them very easy to read.  As far as the sequence, they seem to be much more similar than when using the DNA sequence.  Since each of the enzymes functions in such a similar way, it makes sense that they have very conserved amino acids sequences.  Regardless, to a certain extent of course, of the genetic sequence the translated sequences are very similar.
